PLATEAU PROJECT

Ask any photographer the secret to their craft and they’ll answer with ‘light’. This sentiment couldn’t be truer for fashion photographer Georges Antoni, especially when it came to searching for a family home with his wife Phoebe.” - Vogue Living

Set alongside Garigal National Park in Sydney’s northern beaches, a 1960s bungalow has been transformed into a light-filled family haven for model Phoebe Ghorayeb, celebrated fashion photographer Georges Antoni and their three children.

Working closely with Avalon Beach-based firm Rama Architects to design their dream home, the couple incorporated curved structural elements to bring a sense of femininity into the existing home’s, clean, straight-lined mid-century features.

Brass accents work throughout the bathrooms and kitchen, a natural lived-in feel to each space.
